Betty Burger all started with my love of burgers.

During the summer when our six kids were growing up, we did a lot of barbecuing. It was a quick go-to dinner solution for a big family like ours, and one that was always met with unanimous excitement. Burgers were my favourite meal, too, so it felt like a win win.

Over the years, my husband and I experimented a lot with the burgers we made, adding new flavours, trying different seasoning combinations, patty sizes, condiments, and buns, until everyone at our place agreed: perfection had been achieved.

The kids started requesting “Betty Burgers” on the regular. Friends and family who tried them decided they really were ‘the best’ and my burgers became our signature household offering.

Now, years later, here we are with seven grandchildren who all ask the very same question: “When are we having Betty Burgers?”
